This contest is open to anyone on deviantART and the theme is simple, something we all know something about. Community. Whether it be #clowntown, #thumbshare, deviantART as a whole, neighbors and friends... we're all part of a community in some way. And that's what this is all about. What does community mean to you? Is it about sharing a moment to support a loss? Lending a helpful hand to someone you've never met? Just having fun with other deviants, forgetting the real world for a while?
What we're asking you do is to create something that represents community. Photography, poetry, prose, digital, painting, it doesn't matter. Just think community.

• The contest is broken down into four categories based on medium: Photography, Poetry/Prose, Digital Art, and Traditional Art. Deviants can enter up to one submission per category, but can only win in one category... So, if one person enters Digital and Photography, and has the best Digital submission, he or she will forfeit a possible prize in Photography. This is to allow for prizes for more people.


• Deadline: All submissions must be new and not uploaded to deviantART before November 1st, 2005 at the time of this posting. The deadline for entrants is January 1st, 2006.


• Submitting: Submissions can be uploaded as deviations or scraps and must be noted to =bellchild. Links as replies here will be ignored. Please include the word Contest and the category in your subject.


• Please Note: All entries must abide by the deviantART Etiquette Policy and rules.

One winner in each medium will receive up to $50 in prints from *ArtForDeviants. Other random bonus prizes are also a possibility.
